and artificial intelligence (AI) can enable reaching context awareness\, w
hich in turn can be instrumental for introducing security controls at all
layers\, including the PHY for the first time. In this talk we will first
discuss how security controls at PHY can be enabled by context awareness.
Then we will showcase physical layer security (PLS) schemes for authentica
tion (RF fingerprinting) and secret key generation (SKG) using both synthe
tic and real channel state information (CSI) data. Furthermore\, we will i
ntroduce a novel approach for distributed anomaly detection in large scale
Internet of Things (IoT) systems\, leveraging self-monitoring of a device
’s hardware. Through experiments in software defined wireless sensor net
works we will discuss the potential advantages of such approaches. Due
to Corona restrictions\, the number of available seats is limited. If you
are interested in attending the talk\, please get in touch with \"andre.no
 llbarreto@barkhauseninstitut.org\" beforehand.”
