  psychological processes\, their modulation capability and the translation
  of these basic insights in psychological interventions.</p>    <p>Her wor
 k is focused on processes\, like emotion regulation and inhibitory control
 \, which are thought to be altered in mental disorders. Her aim is to inve
 stigate the neuro-bio-behavioral basics of these processes and to find pot
 ential starting points for the development and optimization of targeted ps
 ychological interventions.</p>    <p>She profits from a plethora of method
 s (eyetracking\, electromyography\, electroencephalography\, magnetic reso
 nance imaging\, experimental psychopathology\, diagnostic tools\, as well 
 as (epi-)genetics) in her research. Her clinical work with patients guides
