 ties are the most promising alternative to Lithium cells. With the 4th Int
 ernational Sodium Battery Symposium (SBS4)\, taking place in Dresden from 
 September 4 to 5\, 2023\, would like to promote discussion and knowledge e
 xchange on all aspects of sodium-based batteries and thus contribute to jo
 int progress and further public awareness.    We cordially invite you to p
 articipate in the discussion with an oral presentation or poster or to pre
 sent your products and services as an exhibitor or sponsor.     The sympos
 ium will cover all aspects of Na-based batteries\, from fundamentals and a
 ctive materials through cell concepts up to systems\, along with testing\,
  markets and applications. Incumbent technologies will be discussed\, such
  as ceramic Na batteries\, as well as novel concepts based on low-temperat
 ure Na-ion conducting materials and intercalation electrodes.    The SBS4 
 aims to strengthen the community around Na batteries and to enable an open
  exchange about current scientific results and research interests\, but al
 so about market requirements and to stimulate cooperations between the par
 ticipants.
