Weg 19\n City: 01069 Dresden\n Phone: \n Fax: \nDescription:
The ba
ryon asymmetry of the universe gives indications for a First Order Electro
weak Phase Transistion (FOEWPT) in the early universe. This in turn requir
es an extended Higgs sector with modifications of the triple Higgs couplin
gs (THCs) with respect to the SM predictions. We discuss the predictions o
f the Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) for the FOEWPT\, the THCs and possibl
e gravitational wave (GW) signals. We show how such a BSM Higgs sector wit
h additional THCs can be tested at the (HL-)LHC and future e+e- colliders.
Finally\, we show how machine learning techniques can be employed to pin
down the underlying BSM parameters from the HL-LHC measurements.
